The Valley of the Moon in Tucson is a fantasy land designed to attract sprites and fairies. It’s got a Wild West vibe to it, as if Pecos Bill were designing fairy castles for Disney princesses. The Valley goes back to the 1920s, when George Legler first designed it. It was closed for a long time, but now it’s on the National Register of Historic Places and open to the public.
