The Brontes were six brilliant children growing up in a creepy stone mansion on the moors of England. Haworth (sounds like Harry Potter, doesn’t it?) stood next to a graveyard. The moors, a desolate wilderness, loomed in the background behind them. It was all so Goth and uninviting.
